  • Position Description

    Performs preventative maintenance and assist with the repair of a variety of gasoline and diesel powered equipment and vehicles.  Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.  Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under general supervision. Work may be performed in an area that can be uncomfortable due to drafts, noise and temperature variation. Work may also involve exposure to hazardous materials and/or with equipment where carelessness could result in an injury and/or death.

    1-2 years heavy truck/automotive experience.

    Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.



    Requires a High School diploma and minimum of 3 years of mechanic experience.

     ASE Certifications preferred or capable of gaining certifications

     Hydraulic Experience preferred

     Must have valid Driver’s License, preferred to have CDL or capability to achieve CDL as requested.

     Must be computer literate.

     Must be able to effectively communicate with customer.

     Must possess necessary skills to operate and interpret diagnostic equipment
