Serco is looking to fill multiple Stock Clerk positions in Warner Robins, GA to support the DLA Chemical Management Services Third Party Logistics (3PL) contract. These Stock Clerks will support all day-to-day 3PL activities for the 3PL operation in support of Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC).
Employee will be tasked with the management of assigned HAZAMT Point-of-Use lockers at dispersed activities and work centers that make up WR-ALC. The stock clerks will maintain established inventory levels for their assigned lockers, and coordinate replenishment activities with their assigned Pharmacy and/or Site Manager for emergent requirements. Employee will be responsible for ensuring the proper storage and segregation of HAZMAT on behalf of end users and also the proper maintenance of HAZMAT based on compatibility and shelf-life considerations.
Employee will be tasked with updating and maintaining the government designated system based on HAZMAT that has been received from the Pharmacy/Serco warehouse facility/outside vendor. HAZMAT usage will also need to be captured in the government designated system based on what HAZMAT has been expended by the end users. Inventories of assigned lockers will be managed both electronically and manually. Inventory reconciliations will be conducted regularly.
Follows standard operating procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. May move materials using hand or power truck, forklift, or other warehouse equipment. Applicants will be expected to be familiar with standard HAZMAT concepts, practices, and procedures especially with the proper receiving, storage and handling of all HAZMAT items.
Will report to the Serco Site Manager for the WR-ALC contract. A certain degree of creativity and latitude will be allowed so long as proper protocols and procedures are adhered to. Employee will be applying first-in/first-out issue methodology and the management/tracking of shelf-life and compatibility of all inventory. Expired/waste HAZMAT that is no longer required will be dispositioned according to standard operating procedures, which the stock clerks will facilitate.
Minimum two years of experience supporting warehouse/industrial activities is desired. Prior training/experience supporting HAZMAT management or logistics activities is highly desired. Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable adjudicated background investigation.
Ability to use hard copy and electronic means to control and manage all HAZMAT in the warehouse facility is required. Able to conduct accurate inventories and research of HM, ensure all HAZMAT is properly managed/tracked, along with ensuring proper inventory and issue processes are followed is required so that customers have the right quantity of HAZMAT based on historical demand and usage. Demonstrated knowledge of US Air Force HM management processes/procedures, warehousing, handling, and safety procedures, along with HM management software programs such as HMIRS and FedLog for inventory research is desired. Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment with varying working conditions.
Job assignment will require working onbase at Warner Robins Air Force Base, specifically within the WR-ALC. Minimal travel is anticipated.
