    Purpose of the Job:

    • Plan, organize, direct and control the day to day operations of the Supply section.
    • Perform the duties of the 5 Wing Supply Officer and Controlled Goods Advisor.
    • Accountable to provide organizational leadership through developing, implementing and managing annual business plans to meet contract requirements for assigned sections.
    • Help our customer deliver vital services more efficiently, while increasing the satisfaction of the end customers.
    • Ensure compliance with all Serco Canada Inc. policies and procedures, including but not limited to Code of Conduct and Ethics, Serco Management System, PDR’s, etc.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to the operations including occupational health and safety, environmental, drug and alcohol, as well as quality.

    Position Overview:

    • Perform the duties of Supply Manager who acts as chief advisor to the Logistics Support Manager on all supply matters.
    • Following the Canadian Forces Supply Administration Manual, perform the duties of the Wing Supply Officer who acts as the chief advisor to the Base Commander on all supply matters and is responsible for the efficient and effective management of all second-line supply activities. Also provides oversight of the first-line supply activities to ensure compliance with CF policies.
    • Performs the duties of 5 Wing Goose Bay’s Controlled Goods Advisor, and act as the liaison between 5 Wing and the CTAT Office.
    • Performs the duties of Designated Official (DO) for PSPC’s Controlled Goods Program which includes security assessments for both Serco Goose Bay and Serco Canada Inc.
    • Performs the duties of the Security Official for Transport Canada’s Air Cargo Security Program (ACS).
    • Authority in line with financial approval framework, including budgeting, KPI reporting and input into annual operating and capital budgets.
    • Direct subordinate employees in performance of section tasks and responsibilities.
    • Ensure all deliverables and other reports are completed accurately and on time.
    • Other related duties relevant to this position as may be required.

    **Hourly pay rate is CAD $43.27**



    • Must have a bachelor’s degree OR college diploma in logistics/supply chain management OR a related field OR a Journeyperson certificate in a related field OR equivalent experience in a related field.
    • Secret Security Clearance is required.
    • Must have a minimum of three years’ management experience in procurement and material handling.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level II security clearance is required.
    • Possession of or the ability to obtain and maintain a Ramp Defensive Driving Course (DND/RDDC) certification to operate vehicles on the airfield may be required.
    • Must be able to attain Transportation of Dangerous Goods certifications (air, ground, sea).
    • Minimum valid Class 5 NL Driver’s license is required.
    • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test.
