  • Position Description

    Purpose of the Job:

    • Vehicle coordination, including but not limited to registrations and renewals, dispatching, and coordinating cleaning.
    • Use FMS as required to review and update records and correct deficiencies including scheduling appointments with personnel to update their information.
    • Provide reception duties, hotel desk/accommodations functions, control key distribution, and data management support using appropriate systems including but not limited to TMA, 5 Star, and customer mandated systems, etc.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all customer service duties are provided in a friendly and courteous manner.
    • Receive work order requests and ensure work order system is accurately updated on a timely basis with all relevant work order details.
    • Using appropriate system accurately input and extract data and in a timely manner.
    • Dispatch duty driver as required.
    • Respond to all requests for service, including trouble calls and after hours call outs, vehicle and other requests for emergency assistance or service, and other requests as required and keep logs.
    • Maintain telephone directory.
    • Maintain a control sign out register for buildings, vehicles and equipment.
    • Provide general clerical support functions (e.g. type correspondence, reports, etc.) as directed.
    • Recommend and implement changes to work methods, procedures and equipment to improve cost, quality, time effectiveness and customer service.
    • Ensure all assigned deliverables and other reports are completed accurately and on time.
    • Visibly demonstrate Serco Values and work practices while completing duties.
    • Ensure compliance with all Serco Canada Inc. policies and procedures, including but not limited to Code of Conduct and Ethics, Serco Management System, PDR’s, etc.
    • Other related duties relevant to this position as may be required.

    **Hourly pay rate is CAD $28.32**

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Post-secondary diploma in office administration, or an equivalent level of clerical or computer training.
    • Secret Security Clearance is required.
    • Demonstrated customer service focus, including two years’ experience in a customer service role.
    • Excellent communication and public relations skills
    • Excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite
    • Experience and exposure to TMA or hotel software would be an asset.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level II security clearance is required.
    • Physically able to clear snow/ice off vehicles and refuel as necessary.
    • Government of NL Class 5 Drivers License
