  • Position Description

    With minimal supervision, serves as the NAVSEA PMS377 Program Office point-of-contact at NSWC PCD in support of landing craft life cycle planning for out years and post-delivery requirements (CCDs, POM budgeting, Fleet Introduction, etc.) for LCAC. Coordinates with SSC Post-Delivery Support Analyst for SSC inputs/efforts.  Additionally:

    • Tracks Program Office requirements/actions in support of program funded technical issue resolution efforts at the NSWC; communicate data to PMS 377 post-delivery managers and contractor support.
    • Participates in coordination of requirements for the development of financial and Task Planning Sheet (TPS) documentation for NSWC PCD efforts.
    • Interfaces directly with the support leads for LCAC, LCU, and SSC, as required.
    • Provides a comprehensive OSR bi-weekly report of ongoing technical issues for PMS377.
    • Participates in test mission briefings and test progress / status meetings.
    • Assists in the planning for transport of the LCAC 100 Class craft after acceptance, under the direction of the SSC Post-Delivery Support Analyst.
    • Monitors progress/status of required steps to support LCAC 100 fleet introduction.
    • Supports tracking of trial cards and post-delivery issues as required.
    • Supports requirements development and planning for post-delivery craft availabilities.
    • Assists in BT/AT planning for each craft.
    • Collaborates with ISEAs on fleet-required craft change implementation related to trial cards or Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
    • Participates in program risk management reviews and management efforts.
    • Interfaces with PMS377 On-Site representatives imbedded at the Fleet units. Works closely with the LCAC Planning Yard in Boston, MA.
    • Prepares MS PowerPoint slides for briefs.
    • Supports J-Div QAR meetings.


    Bachelor’s degree plus four years of directly related experience.  LCAC Operational experience required.  Intimate knowledge of LCAC maintenance/logistical requirements highly desired.  Educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 8 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

    Employee must obtain/maintain a SECRET Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
