Position Description

The Senior WFM Consultant is responsible for supporting the implementation of Serco’s standard approach to Workforce Management into the agreed pipeline of contracts within Serco North America ensuring that optimum benefits are delivered in line with the Divisional objective and strategic plans for WFM and may be working on a single or multiple large implementations any one time.  They will be proactive and take responsibility for documenting, planning and driving implementation delivery as part of the implementation team. They must have the ability to operate across a wide degree of corporate and business functions at all levels with ease.  

 

They will drive delivery through excellence in planning, managing risks, people change, change controls, tracking progress, removing blockages and ensuring appropriate project assurance & governance is in place and maintained.  In order to achieve this, the Senior WFM Consultant, you will establish and maintain effective relationships within the WFM Function, Business Unit Operations and supporting functions; to deliver best practice WFM through a transformational change project. 

 

 Key Responsbilities will be: 

  • Work as a Senior member of the implementation team during the end to end implementation of the WFM Operating Model into contracts including implementation of process, configuration, change management, communications and training requirements.
  • Ensure key contract activities related to the implementation are understood and carried out according to the roll out plan
  • Roll out the WFM service and support model into the contract.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor`s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Application Management and Deployment experience
  • Experience in implementation of enterprise wide ERP System is required.
  • Strong Analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.
  • Proficient Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodology
  • Track record of continuous development of skills and process improvement
  • Project experience across a number of key business functions, particularly HR and IT 
  • Comfortable with larger amounts of data and operating within a complex environment.
  • Ability to deliver through deadlines.  
  • Ability to communicate across a diverse community of stakeholders; good networking and influencing skills. 
  • Workforce Management Software Implentation is required (ex. Kronos Oracle or SAP)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing/working with WFM Software packages.
