The Military Strategic Planner will provide direction on projects from inception through completion and provides technical and managerial assistance on all aspects of project management to comply with the technical requirements of the contract for the customer. Assist with providing (ASC) the visibility at TS/SCI level events and to assist in the preparation and developement of all staff estimates, courses of action, Operatons Orders, Fragmentary Orders and Warning Orders. Manage and coordinate technical and administrative staff by assigning, scheduling, prioritizing, coordinating, and facilitating multiple tasks. Evaluate the performance of subcontractors and staff in terms of actual and planned task schedules and resource requirements. Review work for quality assurance. Composes memoranda, reports, and other documentation highlighting project steps and status for daily and weekly meetings with customer. Attend meetings and makes presentations about project status and work commitments. Ensure the training of all staff members and instructs them on customer’s methods, procedures, and standards. Evaluate, develop or implement procedures regarding project documentation and development. Troubleshoot technical problems and takes corrective action. Participate in mid and long-range planning, analysis, and program design. Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals. Conduct complex work important to the organization.
