Position Description

The SharePoint Administrator III will focus on analyzing existing SharePoint solutions and improve usability and usage.  The role includes working independently gathering requirements, analyzing data in support of users’ needs and explaining to the user the out-of-the-box functionality. The role will provide business process improvement support to effectively create and configure content on Microsoft SharePoint (SharePoint Online or SharePoint Server 2019).  This role will develop simple forms, administer and support SharePoint with out-of-the-box features and optimize custom solutions as needed by the business.  This role will configure Microsoft SharePoint as needed, deploy new solutions, support user issues, and help solve technical problems. This role is designed to act as a liaison to the business with capabilities to document requirements and create workflows or collaborate with peers to create a solution acceptable to the business. This role will participate in developing technical and training materials.  Experience in other O365 apps such as PowerApps and Power Automate a plus.  Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Requires knowledge & experience in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019
  • Experience with server administration, operations and maintenance of SharePoint Farm (SharePoint 2019)
  • Participate in and manage SharePoint projects, solutions, and migrations.
  • Expertise configuring form libraries, lists, workflows, team sites, content management sites, user permissions, enterprise search, security, and reporting services.
  • Create end-user training/reference documents and train key users on system functionality as needed.
  • Configuring Microsoft SharePoint out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Developing and customizing Microsoft SharePoint solutions based on company SharePoint and O365 support model.
  • Assist business partners in the process of identifying business needs, prioritizing, planning, functional business area Microsoft SharePoint projects.
  • Responsible for creating automated business process improvement solutions using web forms, metrics, workflows, and dashboards to name a few.
  • Analyze & improve operational efficiencies and automate business processes by developing Microsoft SharePoint workflow solutions.
  • Research platform issues, debug, and solve technical problems.
  • Strong task management, customer contact, and task prioritization skills are required.
  • Builds knowledge of the organization, processes & customers.
  • Solves a range of straightforward problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard practices.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented and collaborative environment

 

Qualifications

  • Server and network experience a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Bachelors degree in related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath a plus.
  • Experience in other O365 apps such as PowerApps and Power Automate a plus.
