Position Description

The Manager of Technical Operations provides support in managing technical programs. will Troubleshoot problems within project/program, providing analysis and solution ecommendations.  They will provide support to areas such as product implementation, enhancement, integration or audits. Responsible for oversight of technical resources and operations to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


The manager will oversee maintenance and updates to various applications Define project goals, develop work plans, and set short and long term priorities to be accomplished by team members Will manage all work performed and coordinate the effort of all team members and other contractors.  should have experience working with business partners and sould have experience in Client facing roles.  The manage will ensure delivery of sprints and releases as well. 



  • Requires a Bachelors Degree in related field.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • 4-+ years of related work experience in IT Infrastructure and Systems development, which should include successful experience of leading or managing a team of technical resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with others and senior management.
  • Strong technical project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple partners/sub-contractors.
  • Experience working with/for large system integration companies and/or serving government customers.
  • Strong working knowledge in SDLC - requirements gathering, design, development, QA, and operations. Working experience in modern enterprise technology including Java/J2EE, MS .NET, BPM/Workflow, ESB, Web Services, XML, and/or relational DB (Oracle, MS SQL).
  • Proven communication skills - both written and verbal presentation. 
  • Travel may be required.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Preferred Qaulifications:

  • PMP and/or CMMI certification preferred.
