Serco is seeking a Project Control Manager to lead a team of five program controllers in our APML business unit. The position will report to the Sr. Manager Finance.
This role calls for a well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Key attributes we are seeking for this role include both the willingness to dig deeply into details, as well as the ability to assess the big picture. The selected individual will consistently demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new information. The successful candidate will have a strong management and program control background with significant experience in government contracting.
The Manager of Project Control is responsible for the management of Project Control employees involved in program financial management and analysis, monthly and quarterly accounting close processes, and process improvement.
This position is responsible for providing business guidance and program control support to Operational Leaders to achieve financial and operational goals, as well as recommending actions to improve progress and performance.
As the leader of the program control team you will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of operational finance for their supported programs. This position positively affects company performance and positions the incumbent for future growth and development opportunities.
