Position Description

Serco is seeking an attention-to-detail oriented Configuration Data Management Analyst to join the Serco team supporting the Amphibious Warfare Program Office at our Washington DC location. In this position you will support the Configuration Manager / Data Manager CM/DM for the new Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) in maintaining the Configuration Data Management Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).

 

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Supports SSC Configuration Management team and support CDRL management
  • Prepares CM status reports Provide administrative support for K Division and for engagements with SSC program stakeholders
  • Processes Condition Reports and No-cost Administrative Changes (NCACs), Preliminary Engineering Change Proposals (PECPs) and ECRs submitted by the 05D and 4-Div
  • Assists in implementation of approved MODs affecting the contracts Configuration Baseline documentation
  • Reviews Contract MODS from ACO/PCO before posting to ensure that no discrepancies exist between the signed MOD to the applicable approved Change Document (i.e. Admin Package, ECP, Condition Report, RFD/RFW)
  • Supports SSC Configuration Control Board meetings; prepares CCB Read Ahead packages and meeting agendas
  • Supports SSC QAR/QPR meetings
  • Maintains the status of Condition Reports, NCACs, ECRs, PECPs, ECPs and Requests for Deviation/Waiver in a centralized database
  • Implements approved changes into SSC Contract Baseline Documentation IAW SSC Contract Modification issuance, as requested by SSC CM Manager
  • Performs various CM/DM ad hoc tasks, upon request
  • Captures Action Items/Minutes and helps execute presentations for SSC CM/DM meetings

Deliverables / Products:

  • Maintains current SSC files in the Windchill IDE
  • Assists in taking Notes/Action Items resulting from CM/DM meetings, as needed, primarily for SSC CCBs and Change Meetings
  • Produces products as directed by the SSC Serco Lead for the contract's CM/DM Manager
  • Prepares monthly K-Division CM Status reports
  • Maintains current information in the SSC CM database
  • Prepares contract modifications for internal chop; tracks SSC Contract modifications.
  • Maintains SSC projects and libraries in the IDE
  • Coordinates the IDE review process for Administrative Changes, Condition Reports and Preliminary Engineering Change Proposals (PECPs); disseminates current review status/documentation in a consolidated weekly report
  • Consolidates and assembles SSC PECP Read-Ahead packages from SDM/4-div for stakeholder IDE review and conducts modifications, as needed, prior to the CCB
  • Maintains and distributes weekly SSC CM Status Reports
  • Prepares Configuration Control Board packages for signature approval/presentation; prepares CCB Package Binders, and draft agendas
  • Develops government responses for proposed contract modifications
  • Tracks SSC Configuration Baseline requirements for all craft
    Tracks changes to SSC contracts

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor`s degree and 2-4 years relevant experience is required. (In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 4 years of applicable work experience). 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance upon employment.
  • Prior database experience such as MS Access or SharePoint is required.
  • Experience with document workflow required.
  • Experience with PTC Windchill is a plus
  • Experience coordinating virtural document review via Integrated Data Environment (such as SharePoint or Windchill) preferred.
