Position Description

The Logistics Consultant II will be supporting Government customer and providing total acquisition lifecycle support to achieve acquisition milestone goals. The candidate shall provide logistics and acquisition lifecycle Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to our Air Force (AF) customer in support of achieving a MS B decision, and post-MS B acquisition management support for an acknowledged ACAT I Special Access Program (SAP). The work performed is intended to support the AF planning process for capability-based acquisition and programming efforts such as evaluation of acquisition and requirements related data. It will span the full breadth of acquisition management support as directed in DoD Directive 5000.1 and DoD Instruction 5000.02. This position requires application of in-depth acquisition management skills and experience in support of acquisition tasks.  



  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level III or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification or equivalent experience.
  • Acquisition Lifecycle Support experience with ACAT 1D/C program support.
  • Experience support Integrated Product Teams (IPTS) and logistics technical writing experience.
  • Experience with Business Case Analysis (BCA) and Independent Logistics Assessments preferred.

Must have active Secret clearance or above.
