This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your DoD SECRET level secruity clearance.

Sercoo supports the US Navy as a prime contractor for acquisition and technical support to the Amphibious Warfare Program Office.  Our team performs engineering design evaluations and develops a range of design/configuration control products.


You will be part of a 10-12-member team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that work closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality products in support of the LHA(R) Program.  SMEs provide systems engineering and technical expertise for C4I/CS/ATC shipboard system upgrades, integration, and configuration management.

  • Develop Preliminary Engineering Change Proposals (PECPs), Waterfront Change Packages, Work Items, and Administrative Change Packages. Integrate system changes to cable block diagrams and cable running sheets.
  • Develop technical response rationale for Government Furnished Information Deficiencies (GFIDs), Condition Reports, and Trial Cards.
  • Use AutoCAD to develop change packages.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss system interfaces and design package status.
  • Conduct review of future change packages and determine package preparation dates.
  • Conduct travel to outside activities and participate in shipboard trial events.


To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • An active SECRET security clearance is required for employment.
  • In-depth knowledge of US Navy Amphibious Ship ATC systems (e.g.  IFF, Amphib ATC-DAIR, Moriah Wind System, JPALS, Hover Positioning Indicator, TACAN, SPN-50).
  • AutoCAD proficiency and an in-depth knowledge of U.S.
  • Experience with integrating system changes to cable block diagrams and cable running sheets is required.

Additional desired experiences and skills:

  • Experience working with other NAVSEA activities to develop responses in the form of Contract Letters, Engineering Analysis, Cost Estimates, Work Item Development, Feasibility Studies, and other related deliverables is highly desirable.
