You will be part of a team that works closely with the internal customers and other Serco teams to deliver quality VOIP (Voice Over IP) and networking systems infrastructure and service.  This team is responsible for delivery VOIP and networking services to the entire corporate infrastructure. Experience performing VOIP design, maintenance and troubleshooting of a Cisco Collaboration environment is required. Experience needed includes but is not limited to design, troubleshooting and configuration and maintenance of CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX and Cisco Cube/Voice Gateways

Qualifications

  • Design, plan and implement document and troubleshoot VOIP in a large network infrastructure
  • Create and troubleshoot CUCM configurations to include, but not limited to Calling Search Spaces, resource groups, translation patterns, etc
  • Implement and troubleshoot VOIP deployment technologies such as SIP and PRI
  • Implement new subscribers in an existing VOIP cluster
  • Optimize legacy configurations of Cisco Cube/Voice Gateways
  • Design, recommend, implement, and troubleshoot QOS configurations at the edge and core of VOIP infrastructure elements (to include but not limited to routers, switches and firewall
  • Recommend improvements in the existing collaboration environments
  • Deploy, collaboration elements properly in network monitoring software
  • Create, troubleshoot, and maintain Cube/Voice Gateway configurations, dial peers, PRI, SIP configurations
  • Create and maintain carrier documentation to include data, SIP and PRI information
  • Create and maintain Cisco Collaboration documentation
  • Have knowledge of networking processes like STP, VLANs, HSRP/VRRP, BFD, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ARP, NAT, TCP, and UDP. 
  • Have a solid understanding of IPv4/v6 addressing & addressing management.
  • Have a good understanding of software application/network protocols like HTTP, SSL, FTP, SCP, SMTP, RTSP, SIP, DHCP, and DNS. 
  • Will be developing, documenting, and maintaining all networking/security systems to include their configurations via command line and graphic user interface in a controlled change management environment. 
  • Will also be troubleshooting network performance issues & providing technical support and guidance to users. 
  • Will be able to create and maintain a network disaster recovery plan.
  • You will also be recommending upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment for the network environment following the Cisco design life cycle
  • A four year college degree with an IT major or equivalent. 
  • At least 4-8 years of experience is required.
  • Candidates will posses a CCNP VOICE Certification

Additional desired experience and skills:

 

  • Experience with Palo Alto/Cisco firewalls is preferred.
