Serco supports the US Air Force as a sub for their DMAPS TAA - Powerbuilder Migration contract which is looking for a Business Systems Analyst / Scrum Master to collaborate with other business analysts, developers and government experts on migrating a legacy system into a Cloud ready, Micro-Service based system.


You will be part of a team comprised of government and contractors that work closely with other Serco team members to deliver quality support. Our team has been recognized by the US Air Force Program as providing top quality services in support of the customers.


In this Business Systems Analyst / Scrum Master role, you will:

  • Perform requirements analysis and develops user stories to support the Agile team.
  • Create Jira tickets and manages development and sustainment tasks in Jira.
  • Provide customer support and end-user support as required.
  • Apply business process review to support the coordination of activities between and amongst functional units supporting one to more functional lines of business.
  • Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization; contribute to acceptance/functional testing duties.
  • Participate in agile incremental delivery approach which supports incremental development and releases every 2 weeks.
  • Assist development/test teams in activities with test script development and acceptance testing.
  • Communicate with the development team and stakeholders to successfully address requirements.
  • Refine requirements with business process owners and documents requirements into actionable tasks and stories by developers in Jira.
  • Interfaces with the program’s help desk – analyzes help desk tickets to determine if errors or issues match requirements and document and prioritize fixes for insertion into future sprints.

To be successful in this Business Systems Analyst / Scrum Master roll, you will have:

  • NACI
  • The ability to pass a background investigation with the U.S. Air Force (Public Trust) in order to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • BS or BA Degree
  • 5 or more years working as a business analyst in an IT development environment.
  • At least Three (3) years (Minimum) experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Three (3) plus years working with Jira and Confluence.
  • Three (3) years’ experience writing and executing test scripts (manual or automated)
  • CSM or related Agile practitioner certification (strongly preferred)
  • Experience working multiple projects simultaneously and handing changing priorities.
  • Must be able to easily reprioritize tasks when needed.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
