Senior Logistics Analyst


If you seek a high profile and challenging position supporting US Navy Submarine Acoustics Systems program offices, Serco North America is seeking motivated individuals to join our Maritime Engineering, Technology, and Sustainment Business Unit located near the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. This position is predominately supported out of our Manassas, VA location. 


This position supports the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) Program Office at Naval Sea Systems Command.   Bring your leadership, expertise, and collaborative skills to make an impact on the future of our Nation’s security and the safety of our sailors.


In this role, you will:

  • Liaison with program office leadership as well as technical and business and financial leads
  • Lead a team of logisticians, analysts, financial expert, and program support personnel which directly supports this program office.
  • Manage program office related tasks
  • Use EVM techniques and PMI best practices to execute contract requirements.
  • Work to expand Serco’s support of NAVSEA in various areas.
  • Support the financial and recruiting aspects of the contract to ensure mission success



In this role, you will have:

  • A current or active Secret security clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree, ten (10) plus years of relevant work experience in the areas of SWFTS (Acoustics preferred) engineering, test and evaluation, configuration management, logistics, and programmatic support. Degree must be in engineering, computer science, information technology, mathematics, or a related discipline. (In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than eight (8) plus years of applicable work experience in US Navy surface combatant Combat Systems related billets.
  • Logistics experience preferred but not required.
  • Naval service and experience onboard submarines are highly desired.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and easily readable technical correspondence to document reviews of technical recommendations following technical reviews and collating of comments.
  • Articulate in oral and written presentations; possess high organizational skills and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Experience with major US Navy submarine acquisition programs is a plus.
  • Confident action oriented, self-starter with a sense of integrity and actively contribute to building and expanding consultancy services.
  • A technical writing sample demonstrating quality of work and analytical skills may be requested.
