Position Description

An ideal candidate joins a fast-paced, collaborative work environment in support of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Branch.


The Program Manager will conduct planning, analysis, and engineering support in the development and exploitation of remotely sensed imagery for military applications.  Responsibilities also includes the following:

  • Advise, assist, and consult on all areas of organizational management, mission analysis, and potential application of space-based remote sensing platforms military intelligence applications
  • Assist in developing a vision and long-term strategy as well as the action plans to implement the strategy
  • Assist the organization with programming, budgeting, and execution of up to $6.5 million in funding from multiple sources
  • Assist the Branch Chief and Deputy with operations of the 37 person GEOINT Branch
  • Oversee and manage efforts of 19-member contractor team



  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • Five (5) -seven (7) years’ experience with military intelligence with focus on GEOINT
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
