Position Description

If you love high profile and challenging programing projects supporting the Defense Logistics Agency - Serco has a great opportunity for you!  This Logistics Consultant II will be working as a consulting team member or individual consultant to develop program objectives and manage program execution at our Remote Utah location. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense.

 

Serco supports the Defense Logistics Agency as a prime for their DLA CMS contract. Our team ensures the safety of the military employees and allows them to perform their missions successfully.

You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams that have been recognized by the DLA and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

 

In this Logistics Consultant II role, you will:

  • Have an expertise and work effort focused on the analysis on the customer’s business goals, objectives, needs and the general business environment to solve logistical problems.
  • Prepare and present technical data and briefings.
  • Duties may be performed at customer's site.
  • Maybe have business Development Responsibilities.
  • Be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Have a range of creativity and latitude as expected.

Qualifications

To be successful in this Logistics Consultant II role, you will be required to have:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • NACI
  • 10+ Years Military Service and Program Management Experience

  • Lean Green Belt
