Position Description

Serco-NA has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Manager to join our team in Herndon, VA.  This position will provide proposal pricing support for large strategic bids, task orders and contract modification proposals to the federal government.  The team focuses on high visibility and high volume bids 20 million plus in volume. Our pricing team believes in maintaining work life balance so you will be cross trained and new assignments are based on individual bandwidth.

In this role you will:

  • Develop, coordinate, analyze, and prepare price proposals and supporting documentation in accordance with government RFPs and Serco corporate policies for cost and pricing. 
  • Help ensure accuracy, adherence, compliance, and maintenance of Serco’s Cost Estimating System. 
  • RFP analysis, establishing pricing volume deliverable schedules, collection of accurate direct and indirect pricing inputs, creation and evaluation of pricing model scenarios, development of cost narratives, peer review of teammates’ proposals, and production of final approved Pricing Volume.  
  • Consistent coordination and communication with program teams, proposal managers, capture, contracts, sub-contracts, and technical experts.
  • Coordination of price proposal process from Draft RFP through proposal submittal and FPR

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ Years’ experience in federal government price proposal development (years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
  • Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and TINA.
  • Knowledge of standard RFP structure and contract types including CPFF, CPAF, T&M, and FFP.
  • Well-developed planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task between changing requirements and priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Experience with Fixed Unit Pricing desired.
