Serco is seeking a Sr. Manager of Business Finance with GovCon program financial management skills to lead a team of program controllers in our System Integration and Installation (SI2) business unit. The SI2 business unit is a $400M/yr IDIQ driven portfolio with hundreds of active DoD tasks/contracts at any given time. This position will oversee a large subset of the SI2 portfolio with programs ranging in size and complexity to include global system sustainment, large installation, and hardware production, build to print, contracts. The position will report to the Finance Director.
This role calls for a well-rounded leader who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Key attributes we are seeking for this role is the ability to lead and cultivate a diverse team while providing strategic program analysis and insight to our operational VPs and Directors. The selected individual will consistently demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new information. The successful candidate will have a strong management and program control background with significant experience in government contracting in a task order driven environment.
In this Sr. Manager of Business Finance you will be responsible for the management of finance employees involved in program financial management and analysis, monthly and quarterly accounting close processes, and process improvement.
This position is responsible for providing business guidance and program control support to Operational VPs and Directors to achieve financial and operational goals, as well as recommending strategic actions to improve progress and performance.
The position is based in San Diego, CA; however, the position will require the ability to travel occasionally (10% or less) within the United States.
As the leader of the program finance team for this business unit, the Manager of Business Finance will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of operational finance for their supported programs. This position positively affects company performance and positions the incumbent for future growth and development opportunities.
