Serco supports the US Military as a prime for their HIPS contract performing tasks for the daily warehouse operations and providing support to both internal and external customers.


You will be the Warehouse Supervisor for a highly functioning team in a fast paced environment working directly with Program/Project Managers and Directors to execute contract logistics requirements. 


In this role, you will:

  • Oversee entire warehouse ensuring productivity of all areas and support functions.
  • Ensures that safety guidelines are followed throughout the facility.
  • Manages day to day operations
  • Troubleshoots issues and ensures that established policies and standard operating procedures are followed.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan based on available warehouse space.
  • A degree of creativity and latitude is required to accomplish goals
  • Conducts inventory analysis to solve inventory problems
  • Plans based on available warehouse space and material flow
  • Develops and implements inventory control procedures, trains and manages inventory team 



To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • HS Diploma with 7-9 years of direct inventory management experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Inspection process/documentation
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Understanding of inventory processes; impact of transactions in Costpoint
  • Understanding of multiple warehouse/inventory systems/processes
  • Excellent Communication skills; ability to adjust to changing customer requirements
  • Able to manage through delegation; experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Up to 10% travel is possible


Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Costpoint/RFgen experience a plus
  • Shipping experience both via commercial and military carriers
  • Practical experience operating within ISO9001:2015 or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
  • Prior experience as first line supervisor
  • Service now experience a plus
  • Forklift certification a plus
