Position Description

Serco is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Scheduling Analyst to join our dynamic Maritime Engineering Operation (MEO) at our Alexandria, Virginia location. The MEO team leverages its corporate knowledge to conceive, design, construct, support and evaluate high-performance maritime systems for a variety of customers. You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer to deliver business expertise with an emphasis on contracts, finance, and customer service.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain individual or integrated schedules in accordance with documented standards
  • Evaluate/contrast alternative schedules and present to others
  • Participate in risk analysis and reflect impacts and mitigations in schedules
  • Support cost analysis by providing the time and duration of activities
  • Implement schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain the schedule product build, staging, testing, deployment, and integration
  • Define and implement schedule configuration management processes and procedures
  • Develop schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure that they are followed on development or operational schedule development and implementation projects

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance Post Employment
  • U.S. citizenship
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Scheduler in engineering programs and contracts
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • 4 years of additional scheduling experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Outstanding skills in communicating complex technical issues, both verbally and in written form
  • Highly self-motivated and creative attitude with the ability to flourish in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience in conducting or participating in Schedule Health Assessments (SHA) and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
  • Familiarity with MS Project and Milestone Pro
  • 10% travel required.
