Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Opening and closing of the WOC in accordance with WOC orders and security requirements.- Issue, plot and distribute operational directives. Ensures WOC Maps are updated to include all current Ops directives and restrictions. - Develop a detailed knowledge of the 5 Wing Emergency Response Plan. (ERP)- Maintain map depot. (Online and/or onsite) - Liaises with civilian air operators, airspace and range users, and ATC. - Mediates operations-related conflicts between airspace and range users and area stakeholders. - Analyses daily training requirements of the airspace and range users, and negotiates/produces balanced schedules for airspace, target, ranges and Practice Target Area (PTA) usage.- Prepare shape files on all low-level tracks flows for mitigation officer + IEMR.- Develop and print custom maps for DND operations and exercise, upon request. - Prepare daily mission packages of ops directives for flight crews (444 and visiting).- Promotes monitors and reports users’ compliance with the environmental mitigation program, as well as all applicable orders and regulations.- Processes occurrence reports and noise/over flight complaints and advises ATCM. - Monitors Goose Bay and alternate aerodrome status and provide up-to-date information on changes to airspace, navigational aids and runway conditions.- Monitors weather, equipment operational status, etc. at Goose Bay, alternates, and the training areas. Advises users regarding operational consequences and directs actions.- Issues flight advisories of known civil traffic to the detachment/user Ops Centres.- Coordinates Air Transport Requirements (ATR’s) with 5 Wing users and commercial service providers.- Responsible for organizing all aerodrome briefings for visiting flight crews.- Maintain and track flight statistics and distribute info to appropriate offices.- Assist with advising and helping detachment aircrews in cross country flight planning. - Answers inquiries/complaints about daily flying operations.- Coordinates emergency response/diversion procedures when necessary.- Ensures ATCM made aware of urgent issues involving 5 Wing's flying operations.- Briefs ATCM on daily developments, the course of action taken and provides expert advice on issues related to flying operations.- Coordinates all visiting aircrew requirements for exercises- liaises with identified users, 5 Wing and civilian agencies for transport, rations and quarters arrangements.- Emergency response – as required/directed by ATCM.- Ensure WOC has the capability to deploy OSCER 24/7 as per the Wing ERP. - Booking airspace/ training areas as requested and ensuring de-confliction with PTA, TFR areas, High-level airspace, and Targets.- Informing Tower and Radar of changes to the local flying schedule.- Passing all departure and landing times to the in-house user.- Completing and sending related flight ops forms to the appropriate user.- Updating operations information.- Plotting Ops Directives and restrictions/ delineation on WOC maps.- Maintaining adequate stock of appropriate maps to support local flying.- Updating applicable publications.- Monitors Goose Bay and alternate aerodrome status and provides up to date information on changes to airspace, navigational aids, and runway conditions. - Monitors weather, equipment operational status, etc. at Goose Bay, alternates, and the training areas.  Advises users regarding operational consequences and directs actions.- In conjunction with WOC personnel, coordinates Air Transport Requirements with 5 Wing users and commercial service providers. - Answers inquiries about daily flying operations.- Coordinates emergency response/ diversion procedures when necessary.- Coordinates visiting aircrew requirements- liaise with identified users, 5 Wing and civilian agencies for transport, rations, and quarter’s arrangements. - Ensure all assigned deliverables and other reports are completed accurately and on time.- Prepare and distribute reports as follows:-  Daily CAOC foreign transient report-  Weekly Ops updates – Don’t do that anymore. Asked to stop as it was not required. -  Weekly CSNI SITREPS to CAOC Has stopped-  Weekly 444 CSS readiness reports and flying schedule They do their own. We don’t do this. -  Monthly Military Activity Reports-  Monthly Landing Fees Report-  Carry out Daily Hangar duties as per “Hangar Duties Checklist”. Looking for a Systems Administrator opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day?  Discover this great opportunity in our Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands location.  Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors by discovering your new role supporting this critical mission. This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Security clearance. Serco supports the U.S. Space Force as a prime by providing 24x7 services to manage, operate, maintain, and provide logistical and general support for the Space Fence system. The Space Fence is a second-generation ground-based S-Band radar space surveillance system, strengthening U.S. space superiority through improved Space Domain Awareness (SDA).  The Systems Administrator will administer and manage Space Fence information systems, IT equipment, mission system software, communications/ security equipment and TEMPEST systems; perform contingency operator duties when SOC is unavailable. Visit the following link for more information about how Serco supports our Veterans https://www.serco.com/na/careers/veterans-at-serco. In this role, you will:- Perform system administration support for all assigned systems and manage the cybersecurity of the Mission System and information systems on a regular basis.- Audit logging and reviewing, account management, incident response, DISA Security Technical and Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance, Army and Air Force policy, and other requirements-related accreditation or authorization documents.- Operate, maintain, repair, and restore the Mission System software and equipment to meet Acc and mission requirements.- Maintain data processing software, database, and system files; perform software installation and system reconfiguration and maintain associated documentation.- Provide communications and networking support.- Update and maintain documentation on Mission System software and site-adaptable parameters integrating changes as required to reflect the current operational and support baseline.- Implement and maintain a Mission System Assessment Report (SAR) to document SA support activities.- Assist sustainment personnel as required in identifying and isolating faulty systems or subsystems.- Ensure servers, workstations, and communications devices are backed up for catastrophic recovery.- Accomplish server backups prior to any software version release or hardware upgrade.- Report system threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents. Implement security patches and updates. - Perform system analysis to determine factors and causes of system performance issues.- Perform TEMPEST activities as required by contract.- Perform primary or alternate supply system duties.- Perform contingency radar operator duties as required.
