The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemen and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements and employer outreach. In this role, you will:- Teaching and/or instructing Military personnel transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.- Guide the transitioning Military Servicemembers in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.- Organize and able to manage an office;- Providing transitioning Servicemembers (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and Veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and, who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.

 The candidate accepted for this anticipated position will collaborate withdevelopers, architects and administrators to create a new cloud based tool for the customer.  We are looking for a software engineer to design, develop and implement new applications and software enhancements to existing services and deploy these applications/enhancements.  This person should have 3 years experience with C++ and Python within the last 5 years. Experience working with TechSigint and/or Cloud development is desired. The purpose of this task is to provide software development, test support, system administration and program management support to stabilize the current project and achieve incremental integration of the project's capabilities into an enterprise architecture. This task provides Human Language Technology (HLT) Support, which includes the following- Integrate with government team(s) to develop and deploy HLT software tools. - Build and deploy HLT software packages to lab, live/dev and operational environments. - Develop and test new features within the HLT Framework, building new processing modules, or interfaces, to data base systems or other mission applications. - Address and resolve software defects and/or configuration errors. **Serco Inc. is using this posting for the purpose responding to a proposal.
