The primary goal of the CNIC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain AT/FP Ashore Program systems in accordance with their operational requirements. This role will involve conducting task management through continuous process control and review and provide expertise to customers to ensure resolution of issues.  In this role, you will: - Manage schedules and prepare status reports, utilizing established mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervening and problem solving with Serco and customer management to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.- Interact with customer representatives, including management, concerning project operations, dependencies, risks or scheduling.- Lead briefings and technical meetings with company and customer representatives.- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, following established procedures and contract expectations. - Ensure adherence to Serco administrative policies and procedures, human resource policies and practices as applicable, and contracts administration procedures that support the programs of Serco and ensure that the contract is administered to protect Serco’s interest and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.- Direct efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of the Serco team through training and development programs in both technical and scientific disciplines.- Compose memoranda, reports, and other documentation highlighting project steps and status for daily and weekly meetings with team/leadership.- Utilize project resources and serve as an individual contributor throughout the life cycle of the assigned projects to include analyzing user/system and application needs, determine and evaluate requirements, ensure solution/design meets project expectations, validate test plans and scenarios, and ensure deployments are as seamless as possible and do not disrupt program operation.- Ensure other PMs are following mandatory processes, such as Software Development Lifecycle and conduct spot audits before Audit Team- Facilitate and act as an individual contributor to establish Statements of Work, Operating Models as well as policies, standards, and procedures with measurement capabilities for Application Management. - Typically manage projects from inception to completion from medium size projects to medium-large projects. - Understand and analyze dependencies within the assigned projects as well as other active efforts on the program, capable of taking appropriate action and make recommendations to minimize impacts to the delivery of numerous simultaneous efforts. - Operate with minimal level of supervision and able to make timely and sound decisions with respect to technical aspects of the project- Understand the business goals, objectives, and functions of the program; act as a contributor to project success and not as a status checker. - Plan for potential risks on a project and create mitigation and contingency plans accordingly.- Collaborates with technical managers to secure resources to perform project objectives.- Resolves issues on the assigned project, ensuring the individual teams can perform their tasks on the advertised to the client and leadership schedule.- Be a go-to person to help resolve project issues and help make command decisions.- Train, mentor new and existing team members in SDLC, leadership, attaining objectives for SERCO.- Lead conversations with outside vendors and have the functional knowledge to do so.- Effectively moderate JAD sessions by keeping topics on track and having an eye toward what can be realistically accomplished in project timelines- Lead teams, meetings, or other administrative duties as assigned by the Director and/or Deputy Director.- Assist Director and/or Deputy Director by building teamwork, team consensus and support without having to be asked.- Hold themself to high standards, while showing compassion to others who may not and guide them.- Have a strong sense of personal accountability for the team, all projects and connection to Serco objectives.- Create a ‘Raving Fans’ environment with internal and external customers.- Promote teamwork, collaboration, positive thinking and approach, and served as an example to not just the PM team, but to other teams promoting a One Team mindset (this should be shown through your everyday actions).- Support diverse and inclusive work environment exhibiting respect for all teammates and prioritizing care and teamwork above all else.- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
