Acquisition Logistics Analyst If you love high-profile and challenging programing projects supporting the US Navy- Serco has a great opportunity for you!  The Acquisition Logistics Analyst will support a US Navy shipbuilding program office in Washington, D.C. by reviewing and monitoring acquisition logistics products for Navy ships.  Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors. The successful candidate will be integrated into the ILS Director support team for PMS 400D and resolve billion-dollar acquisition and programmatic issues impacting US Navy ships under construction and fleet assets In this role, you will:- Analyze and evaluate logistics details providing recommendations to the Principal Assistant Program Managers (PAPM). - Develop evaluation methodology, collect, and analyze the data to determine the extent to which goals, objectives and needs are being met.- Direct the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures, and systems, and providing implementation guidance.- Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support and establish and enforce standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped.- Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.- Develop and update ILA, LCSP and other required DoD 5000 series documentation in the Logistics and Sustainment arena.- Prepare and review input to logistics reports, letters, memoranda, contract reports and formal briefings.  - Support program risk identification and management activities. - Coordinate the application of the resources when required.- Develop expertise in assigned areas and their role in supporting overall ship platform.- Develop documentation, reports, and project plans and prepare and may be required to present briefings and staff seminars.- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Mid-Level Business Systems Analyst will write a detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
