Possesses a thorough knowledge of applicable operational mission areas and national defense requirements. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides daily support to NAVSEA PMS443 Readiness Manager for assigned ship class. Provides advice and recommendations to commercial and government senior level staff. Responsible for extracting operational data, conducting research, conducting analysis, and presenting analysis at up to the Flag level. Assess assigned ship class Readiness capabilities, systemic failures, and propose potential solutions. Verify effectiveness and efficiency of implemented solutions. Leverage shipboard knowledge and experience gained from military service to solve current and/or future problem areas affecting ship readiness. Review input data from a variety of sources including CASREPs (Casualty Reports), system availability, and parts usage to correctly identify root causes of systemic problems and formulate solutions that balance cost reduction with cost avoidance. Applies operational background and experience gained from military service and leadership roles during joint and combined operations at tactical, operational and strategic levels of warfare to solve current and/or future mission needs or to correct problem areas. Leads and/or participates in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, readiness exercises, training, education and other forums as required to accomplish contract requirements. Monitors standards for the quality of programs and documents.  Assists in the resolution of project and program priorities. Assures quality control throughout all contract activities.Assists in the development and monitoring of budgets, work breakdown structures and other management procedures as required to manage projects. Demonstrates excellent writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual and analytical reports for clients. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Maintain close coordination with Client personnel, visit and perform work at Client site as required.
