Production Technician – Piping Ever felt trapped in the never-ending challenges of a desk job?  Want to enjoy mobility and new experiences of working in a fast-paced innovative industrial atmosphere?  If you have dreamed of working in the high tech, fast paced atmosphere of building new ships for the US Navy, here is your chance.  You will be working near Lake Michigan in Marinette, Wisconsin helping our US Navy customer keep the dream alive by building our Navy’s newest warship. Serco is a leading support contractor to the US Navy and as such we work directly for PMS 515, part of the Program Engineering Office’s effort to procure and deliver the finest ships for our sailors and our country.  Serco supports the US Navy in acquisition of the Navy’s newest Frigate by reviewing engineering products and monitoring every phase of the production efforts at the Shipbuilder’s Facility in Marinette, Wisconsin. Every aspect of this position hollers experience, knowledge, and the opportunity to excel.  You will report to some of the most experienced shipbuilders around and will be able to share their knowledge and insight.   You will be part of a large contingent of Serco and Navy personnel on-site to support the ship construction effort.  You will be exposed to every aspect of shipbuilding and share in the wealth of knowledge. As a Production Technician, you will be collecting a variety of data and preparing presentable information for higher levels of management up to and including the Navy’s Program Manager.  Data includes:- Daily survey information.- Tracking and collating data from multiple ships under construction.- Conduct meetings as needed in support of SUPSHIP and program office.- Develop and submit weekly reports of conditions found and emergent issues.
