You don’t want to miss this opportunity! Serco supports a large municipal and utility fleet (4,000+ units) performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repair of a diverse equipment set (light, medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks/cars/pick-ups; off-road construction equipment, snow plows, ATVs, Motorcycles, Generators, VAC trucks, and ancillary equipment).   You will be part of a team that has been voted one of the best 10 service companies to work for in the United States for the last 5 years! As a Fleet Mechanic II, you will:- Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on gas, electric, & diesel powered fleet vehicles and various construction equipment- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a diverse equipment set, which includes mowers, cranes, backhoes, trailers, vactor units, directional drills, trenchers, bulldozers, excavators, wood chippers, asphalt laying equipment, diggers and pole setting equipment, aerial manlifts, cranes, medium and heavy trucks and mounted/non-mounted attachments.- Operate and perform diagnosis on equipment, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, route and replaces hydraulic lines, check system for leaks and proper operation- Perform diagnosis and repair of complex electrical systems- Perform welding repairs when required- Perform routine vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance inspections, DOT inspections and replace fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, etc.- Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected- Work under general supervision and is a self-starter - The list of duties does not include ALL duties that may be assigned to this position

The team has been recognized by the customers for their outstanding contributions to several contracts and programs. In this role, you will:- Prepare, modify and maintain plans, designs, drawings, and schematics for components and systems. - Perform moderately complex drafting tasks typically using computer equipment. - Work from sketches, notes, and verbal instructions. - Use computer-aided design (CAD) systems to prepare layouts and drawings. May perform site surveys and incorporate them into CAD files. - At times, work with engineers in specific disciplines, which may require some knowledge of that discipline. - Perform complex tasks requiring the consideration of multiple variables to determine proper course of action. - Receive general guidance/supervision but normally work independently on mastered tasks. - Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.- Produce comprehensive, quality drawings or technical documentation as required.- Demonstrate proficiency using AutoCAD to accomplish engineering tasks.- Perform individual and team Quality checks on drawings or technical documentation.- Regularly be required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
